Things To Do In Costa Rica
Costa Rica has much to offer. El Castillo de Esparza (centrally located to all adventures) as the premier Villa rental in the country, offer you personal services of Ana, the full-time Concierge.
Each of your trips from the Castle can be tailored and arranged by Ana.
Transportation is usually by air conditioned Coaster or Van.
Pool & Jacuzzi
The pool is at the center of Castle activities. It is a large free form pool with plenty of room for swimming or lounging on floats in the warm water. Water temperatures in the pool are mostly in the mid to upper 80’s…refreshing in the warm Costa Rican sun. Swim up to the pool bar, where you will find four in pool bar stools. Your Castle bartender is ready to serve your favorites…..Margaritas….anyone?
Water Slide
Sixty five meters of twists and turns down the hillside, our fiberglass water slide and splash down pool may be the biggest in Costa Rica. For kids and adults alike, the water slide is the perfect way to cool off on a warm Costa Rica afternoon.
Tennis Court
The Castle tennis court is a hard surface standard size court. Bring your racquet, or use equipment available at courtside.
Golf
There are two large greens in the center of the Castle property with six standard golf flag sticks, proving an honest practice area with shots of twenty to fifty yards. The Castle provides a variety of wedges, and plenty of golf balls for your practice, or competition. There are several Tee locations with varying obstacles to challenge everyone.
Canopy Tours
In the country where canopy tours through the rainforest began, you can soar through the jungle canopy like superman, or relax and enjoy the ride through the tree tops viewing the beautiful surrounding country side. Let Ana plan your excursion from transportation to tickets and take a special ride on your own schedule.
Horseback Riding
Trips are available in the jungle or the mountains. Let our experienced staff plan the trip with you. Spend a few hours or all day. Ride up to natural waterfalls or take a swim if you like . We will pack your towels too. You will see animals you might now see on foot, and experience the wonders of the flora and fauna that make up the special ecosystem of Costa Rica……
Media Room
In the south wing of the Main House, you’ll find a complete entertainment Media room. Choose from hundreds of movies on DVD, or watch your favorite shows on the 55 inch Flat screen television with complete cable channels. On the indoor veranda overlooking the main salon is the game room with a standard pool table and equipment. It is a comfortable place for pre-dinner cocktails and a little friendly competition.
Live Entertainment
Work with Ana, or concierge to plan live bands performing just for you at your private resort. Popular rock bands, cocktail duos, or Mariachi entertainment are all easy to arrange for you.
One of the favorites is the Costa Rican Carnival night, complete with music entertainers, costumes and dancing.
Fireworks
Cap off the evening with your own fireworks display. We can arrange a complete professional fireworks display, presented only for you in your private resort. Relax on the outdoor veranda and experience amazing sights and sounds of Fireworks up close and personal.
